Excellent massage by Karin and a nice space
I visited this place last year on my anniversary with my girlfriend. We had no idea what to expect so I took the chance of trying them out. The Place was clean, staff was great , price was on target. After our session the owner spoke with us and shared his experience and did a tour of the entire spa. He answered all of our questions of the services and prices and such. I would recommend this place to a friend it is definitely worth the trip visiting them.
She.made it clear that I would need to come in many times and stated that next visit she would do some craniosacral work. There will be no next visit.
Eh. Nice sauna and great that they had an outside hot tub. Massage with Janet was very fair. She doesn't do deep tissue and that is what I asked for. It was a Saturday, and the person who comes in on Saturdays to do facials was just eh too. She didn't do any extractions and focused on rubbing my feet and hands. This was very nice, but not the facial I was expecting or read about in the description. Way too overprised given how fair the services were.
Very disappointed. Made an appointment for a 60 min craniosacral massage and Deb who was highly recommended spent less than 10 min on my head. She did an overall "assessment" and spent a lot of time talking about my feet and how everyone needs a solid base and told me that she could fit me for orthodics for only 60$ and that if I purchased the same orthodics in a shoe store they would cost 299$. I asked if she does the impressions for these devices at the Spa and she said that she doesn't do impressions and that she brings in a few different sizes of pre made ones and sees which fit best. If I wanted orthodics I would go to a podiatrist and have them custom made. I also said that I could understand how my flat feet feet could cause back problems but not migraines which is why I was there. She stated that she wasn't really sure if I had migraines despite my telling her that 3 neurologists diagnosed me with them as well as my PCP. She did some myofacial release on my back which was fine but not why I was there. She also suggested that I purchase a few books and when I researched the author it was clear that his research was controversial at best and that many reputable neurologists felt that he wrote numerous books because of the financial profit. The other book had to do with ones blood type and how that should dictate what we eat among other things. She asked my blood type and when I said O pos she told me that I should eat more meat. I mostly eat vegitarian foods and many people told me that this authors theories were disproved yrs ago.
Great experience
